Interview with Dominik Graner on Behaviour Based Safety

The 21st edition of Good to KNOW! focuses on Behaviour Based Safety (BBS). An exciting approach that rethinks occupational safety. Dominik Graner, Head of HSEQ Europe at JELD-WEN, explains in an interview why safety culture is developed not through control, but through genuine listening and active role modelling.

He shows how managers can positively influence the behaviour of their employees through targeted observation, feedback and recognition, thereby preventing accidents in the long term.

Graner emphasises that anyone who takes safety seriously must question processes, involve people and rethink responsibility. Behaviour Based Safety is much more than a theoretical concept. It shows an effective way to build a sustainable safety culture within a company.
